At 21, the support just stops.
Neurodivergent and autistic adults hit what families call “falling off the cliff” — services end, and employment barriers begin. Pawsability was built to change that: a real business, with real customers, doubling as a training ground where people learn a trade and get hired.

Both programs are offered at no cost to autistic and neurodivergent individuals and their families.
Flagship
Vocational Training & Career Development
Over 70 hours across animal handling, customer service and facility management, plus site visits to local pet care businesses. Graduates move on to résumé work, interview prep and job search strategy — followed by virtual and on-site job coaching.

Paws & Pizza
Day sessions for students from NYC special education schools and day habilitation programs — meeting small dogs, helping with a bath, and getting a first look at what a career in pet care actually involves.

Space is scarce here. We beat the norm with two indoor rooms and one outdoor yard, so there’s room to run whatever the weather or the mood.
